Community Development and Support Expenditure Scheme
The Community Development and Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme is designed to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of front-line services to their local communities; and to ensure that the disadvantaged in the community are better positioned to benefit from the substantial contributions made by those clubs.
In the Act, a distinction is made between two classes of expenditure:
• Category 1:
Expenditure on specific community welfare and social services, community development, community health services and employment assistance activities

Overview: The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) can assist Australian non-profit, incorporated and other eligible organisations such as the following with sport related projects: sporting clubs, sporting organisations (regional, state and national), schools, councils and community groups.
The ASF can also offer a unique tax advantage to individuals, businesses and philanthropic donors. Taxation guidelines prohibit the registration of projects with individuals. However, if you are a sportsperson with a sports related fundraising goal, then your club or sporting organisation may be able to register the project with the ASF.
